Follow I-81 South and I-66 East to North River, then take exit 6 from I-66 East. Finally, Follow US-340 South/US-522 South and North Royal Avenue to West Main Street in Front Royal, VA.
From Winchester, VA to Leesburg, VA – 36 miles, 45 minutes to 1 hour 10 minutes typically. Taking Route 7 East/Berryville Avenue it’s pretty much a straight shot down 7 where you take the Virginia 7 Business exit toward Leesburg. Continue onto VA-7 Business West into Leesburg, VA.
From Winchester, VA to Reston, VA – 55 miles, 1 hour 5 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes typically. Follow VA-7 East and VA-267 East to VA-286 North/Fairfax County Parkway in Reston. Take exit 11 from VA-267 East. Continue on VA-286 North/Fairfax County Parkway; then take New Dominion Parkway to Market Street and on into Reston, VA.
From Winchester, VA to Tysons Corner, VA – 64 miles, 1 hour 10 minutes to 2 hours typically. Take VA-7 East all the way until you get on VA-267 East/Dulles Greenway in Leesburg. Follow VA-267 East to VA-7 West/Leesburg Pike in Tysons. Take exit 47 A-B from I-495 South. Merge onto VA-7 West/Leesburg Pike into Tysons Corner, VA.
From Winchester, VA to Washington, DC – 76 miles, 1 hour 50 minutes to 3 hours typically.Take VA-7 East all the way until you get on VA-267 East/Dulles Greenway in Leesburg. Continue on VA-267 East. Take George Washington Memorial Parkway to US-29 North/Key Bridge/North Lynn Street tin Arlington. Take the US-29 North/Key Bridge exit from George Washington Memorial Parkway. Continue on US-29 North/Key Bridge. Take Whitehurst Freeway Northwest and K Street Northwest to Scott Circle Northwest in Washington, DC.
From Winchester, VA to Martinsburg, WV – 24 miles, 26 to 40 minutes typically. Get on I-81 North in Stonewall from National Avenue and VA-7 East. Follow I-81 North to WV-45 East in Adam Stephens. Take exit 12 from I-81 North. Drive to WV-45 East into Martinsburg, WV.
From Winchester, VA to Hagerstown, MD – 45 miles, 45 minutes to 1 hour typically. Get on I-81 North in Stonewall from National Avenue and VA-7 East. Follow I-81 North to US-40 East/National Pike in 24, Cedar Lawn. Take exit 6A from I-81 North. Merge onto US-40 East/National Pike into Hagerstown, MD.
For those living out in Cross Junction, VA having purchased homes in Lake Holiday, you can add approximately 20-30 minutes to the above commute times.
For those of you living in Stephenson, VA having purchased homes in Snowden Bridge, the commute times can be expected to be generally the same, perhaps shaving a few minutes off of travel north to places like Martinsburg, WV and Hagerstown, MD.
