It’s that time of year again. After the 3 feet of snow that was dumped on us last week, potholes are popping up across the city and county roads. We all know how annoying they are, but they can also be a safety and hazard issue, not to mention do serious damage to your vehicle if you hit the pothole the wrong way. Below are the resources you can report potholes to in order to speed the timeline for getting them repaired.
Winchester City Limits
In the city you can report potholes by phone at 540-667-1815 or online here. The service desks also deals with other requests such as traffic light outages, fire hydrant issues, dead animals in the roadways and more.
Frederick County Roads
VDOT – This link can be used to report anything from a pothole to signs and traffic lights that need repaired. If there is something that needs immediate attention such as a fallen tree that is blocking traffic you can call 1-800-367-7623.
